摘要:: 中国人对姓氏的重视是随着社会的发展逐渐减弱的，然而至今中华大地上仍然普遍存在着封建姓氏观，在新的时代里其积极作用已然逐渐消亡，其消极作用则日渐明显，影响着现代社会意识的渗透，造成了一定的家庭矛盾和社会问题：目前我国存在的“男女比例失调”现象就是封建姓氏观的一个直接结果。那么，姓氏的本质到底是什么，它是如何起源和发展的呢？在21 世纪的今天它为何还有着如此强大的影响力？笔者尝试用马克思主义的唯物史观来进行分析，以期为人们客观、理性地对待姓氏问题提供些许参考。

Abstract:: The Chinese people's emphasis on surnames is gradually weakened with the development of society. However, the feudal concept of surnames is still widespread in China. Its positive role has grad? ually disappeared in the new era, and its negative effect is increasingly obvious, affecting the penetra? tion of modern social consciousness, resulting in a certain family and social problems. For example, the imbalance of male and female ratio in China is a direct result of the feudal concept of surname. So, what is the essence of the surname? How did it originate and develop? Why does it have such a powerful in? fluence in twenty-first Century? The author attempts to use Marxist historical materialism to analyze it, in order to provide some reference for people to treat the surname problem objectively and rationally.
